You can build an object from scratch or pick a template. The categories shown in the video include jobs and projects, pet service records, events, plans and invoices, vehicles and service orders, policies and claims, and properties and transactions.

Each has a preview button. Click it, read what the template creates, then choose it. The auto shop example uses vehicles and service orders, and picking it builds both object types plus their fields. Somebody would normally spend an afternoon deciding what a vehicle record needs. Here it ships with make, model, VIN, year, and plate already on it.

Associations Are the Whole Point

Creating the object is easy. The value is in the connections between records, which HighLevel calls associations.

Inside the object settings there is an associations panel. That is where you declare that a vehicle belongs to a contact, and a service order belongs to a vehicle. Skip it and you have built three disconnected lists. Do it, and a caller pulls up one screen showing who they are, what they own, and every repair you have done on it.

The walkthrough shows the order. Add a vehicle, enter the plate, save, then fill in model, make, VIN, and year. Open the associations tab, choose contacts, and attach the owner from your existing CRM. Then log a service order, give it an ID, save, and associate the vehicle you just created.
